Football & Cheerleading

This fall we signed the kids up for Upward Sports. Upward is a christian based sports program through our church. The Upward program teaches our kids more about sportsmanship and life values than the must-win attitude we have experienced with other leagues.

You don't have to be a member of our church to join Upward Sports, it is open to the public. One of the best parts is that the practices and games don't keep you on a crazy hectic schedule. We lucked out and ended up having both kids practices on Mondays and games are on Saturday's.

All practices and games are held on the fields at church. At each practice and game the coaches pray with our children and do a devotional.  Addy and Oscar are loving it! We just had our third week of games. The first games were cancelled due to rain. Oscar was sick for the second, so his first game was this past weekend.

They are so cute! Addy loves cheering! Oscar is all about playing football. He doesn't want to go to practices, because he would rather play a real football game. They are so fun to watch!

Here is a video of Oscar from Saturday's game. Too funny!

I was not compensated in any way for this post. We just love our Upward Sports League! :)
