Addyson is 6!

Addyson's 6th birthday was on Friday! Holy cow, why do they have to grow up so fast?

Addyson's special day started with a room full of balloons. I saw this neat idea on Pinterest and really wanted to do it. This will definitely have to be a tradition. It was so fun! (We did it while she was asleep in her bed. Not sure how we got away with it.)

We started the evening off with Addyson's dance recital practice. It was so cute watching them practice. And I was glad to get to practice Addyson's "stage" makeup again. I'm not so good with all the froofy stuff.

After recital practice We had plans to take Addy to dinner at a place of her choosing. She chose to have dinner at Atami, a local hibachi grill. Unfortunately, it was A&M graduation and if you wanted to sit down and eat in College Station, you would be waiting for hours! Why did I not plan ahead? Lesson learned!

We finally settled for Rosa's. Its not the best mexican food, but its not the worse! We enjoyed our dinner and then went to Toys R Us so Addy could pick out her own present. We started letting her do this last year and she really enjoyed it, not to mention it is a lot easier on us!

Jason came home running a fever on Friday and was still feeling pretty bad Saturday. But he suffered through his illness so that Addy could have a good birthday weekend! I love you honey! Your a trooper!

Saturday we took Addy to lunch at Chuck e Cheese, because she asked. I really dislike that place. I think it's cheesy, the food is terrible and half the games never work. It's not exactly the funnest place to go (for an adult), but Addy chose it, so we went.

After a couple of hours there, we came home and had cookie cake and ice cream and spent the rest of the day relaxing and watching movies.

Addyson, I can't believe you have been in our lives for 6 years. You are an amazing little girl and are always so sweet and caring towards others. You have the most contagious smile ever! Your love for all animals is astronomical! If you could have a zoo you absolutely would! You make us so proud in every way. Happy Birthday sweet girl! Mommy and Daddy love you with all of our hearts!
